Our Fall Break Trip

That is a picture from the five acre corn field in Denver that we're going to go to for Fall Break! Yep, we're winners. We were trying to find a concert and ran across this and made some plans. Not much else is going on really just working and school. Megan got her braces off, so we celebrated that. Chelsea is still camped out, her sewage back-up is still in full force. Poor thing. Tomorrow is Orange Peel. We got a couple of more VIP tickets from Fazoli's, so Chelsea and Betsy's brother are going to go also. We also got a VIP parking pass. So we can park close to the stadium, and it's not that far of a trip out there during breaks :) Classes are going alright. Oklahoma Geography, you would think it would be relatively easy, NOT!! The guy had 50 questions all short answer, like "What physical region has this mountain in it?", we were all like What the f!ck!? I think I got all of the questions about lakes though. I have another test tomorrow in marketing. It should be easy. My test on Monday in Emergency Management shoudl be easy too. That class has turned out crazy with all of the Katrina stuff. It ends up the prof just getting mad at how it is all handled. He has good points though. It might get crazy though, because he's leaving to go down there for a couple of weeks and we'll have guest speakers and stuff. Overall it's an interesting class though. The Animal Behavior class doesn't have a test for awhile, but it might be hard too. All he talks about is birds since he's a birdwatcher. It's alright though, my only TR class, so it's not too bad. Well, the finacial aid people finally got around to processing the paperwork, so they finally offered some aid, but nothing will really happen with that until next week. I'm just glad they get it all processed, it was basically a "random" audit of all my applications. Time to show me the money! Gotta go get something to eat before work, later

Today is the begining of Orange Peel Week. Yeah, Betsy is excited but not too many others. They were handing out the I love OP buttons and handed Dina one as we walked by and the thing poked her!! It was funny to me because all she could say was "OHHHH!" for awhile. But Betsy called from work and she got the Orange Peel tickets from there. It was the good news that I was talking about in another post that I didn't want to jinks. Since Fazoli's is a corprate sponsor, we got some VIP tickets for Orange Peel. So Betsy and I get to go to the reception and sit in the suites for the concert. I think it's pretty cool. Alright, later I need to do some homework!

Adios Chelsea too. A lot of people have been leaving Fazoli's here lately, as of tomorrow night add Chlesea's name to the list. She informed people tonight at work that tomorrow will be it for her. A lot of stuff went crazy, like the general manager hanging up on her when she called to tell him, the regional manager telling her that is all her fault and she is bringing in the negativity and making it like high school. But I guess I shouldn't say too much myself because you never know who's reading :) Well, we'll have fun at work tomorrow. More to come, I'm sure I'll get in the middle of it all, not by choice, but will happen since I'm the only one people like and that causes a problem for people on a power trip. Have I mentioned before that this is fast food??? Yeah, not our careers, not something that we're trying to work up in the company in, not something where there's a demand or it's a situation where you're on the chopping block all the time!!
