I'm excited

I'm excited! I've already posted that I'm graduating in May. and that I want to go to grad school. Well, I went and talked with my advisor today and.... if I keep my GPA up, I'm guaranteed acceptance. He also said that he would write a letter of rec, so I only need one more, and some good stuff to put in my application and when to get it in to have a better chance at assistance. He also said that I could be teaching undergrad American government by my second semester. Exciting. I'm ready to kick it up a notch in these classes now, so I can get into grad school and really learn something. I think it would be great to learn more about the applied politics and modern workings, not to mention the higher ed degree is nice too. Just thought I would drop an update.

I've made a decision..

Yep, I've decided what to do. I am going to Grad school and get my masters for Political Science. Of course I have to pass all of these classes and do well next semester, so that the application looks good and I get admitted, but that's what I'm going to do. I'm also going to walk in May when I get my Bachelor's of Science in Political Science. Why not stay in school and get it all done now, because I probably won't want to go back later and if I have that it will be really good. I hope that I get in I'm already thinking about what I want to do my thesis over and I'm sure it'll change but hey it's nice to dream. There's the update, so mark your calendars for May 6th, that's commencement here in Stillwater and then there's a blowout in Jones America...Invite the town!! Back to whatever I was doing, later...

What now??

Yeah, what now? I enrolled for next semester and found out that I could graduate with the BS PoliSci degree in May (if I take and intersession sourse and 15 hours next semester). So then what? The alternative certifaction program to teach requires two years of subject area related work or something, so basically I need to talk to more people about that. OR, I could try and get into the graduate program for political science. I need to do that by Feb. 1, so I need to know what I am going to do soon, and I also need to pass all of these classes now and do well in them, so that I can get a better GPA to get into the grad college. I also need some letters of rec for the application, eghhhhh. OR just find a real adult job, but even then I don't know what to do. CRAZINESS!!! But yeah, I've made it this far doesn't that count for something? I wish someone would tell me what to do and then I could just do it. But I guess I will think about all of it while I'm class now, oh yeah and working too. That's about it, later
